A: This is a heavy-duty floating seal (often called a duo cone seal), commonly found in the track rollers, idlers, and axles of construction machinery like excavators and bulldozers. It creates a robust, long-lasting barrier that keeps lubricating oil inside the assembly and keeps out dirt, water, and other abrasive contaminants.

Q: What materials are the components made of?
A: The set includes two metal sealing rings and two rubber elastomer rings. The metal rings are typically made of high-chrome cast iron or wear-resistant alloy steel. The rubber rings are usually made of Nitrile (NBR) rubber for standard applications, or FKM rubber for high-temperature or chemically aggressive environments.
